Dialog telecom is the biggest telecom operator in sri lanka. They have
over 2.7 million cellular customers around the country. Dialog buy 90%
Of siyatha fm/tv last month which is not yet started normal
transmition. This is free to air channel and we learn that dialog have
idea to buy troubled cbnsat or plan to start DTH technology cable tv
in mid next year. Dialog will telecast star net,zee net and so on..
sri lanka telecom is the biggest cable land line telephone
operator in sri lanka. In resent time they got licence from TRC to non
voice telephone service and they buy small cable tv company which not
known much. Sri lanka telecom is not decided yet what technology there
are going to use but they have plans to provide very cheap broadband
internet connection threw this cable tv line.
