Sri lanka telecom conferms their tv plans ....

Sri lanka telecom is the biggest fixed telephone line operator in sri
lanka plans to invest in televivion station. SLT's chief executive
officer shuhei anan said "company will start working on the tv station
soon". Sri lanka telecom wants to launch a package product together
with television content for mobile phones in order to better face
competition next year. He further said "slt will combine
cdma(technology used to provide land telephone lines wirelesly),
ADSL(tech used to send more data from ordenery copper cable)GSM(tech
used to mobiles) wimax(tech used to provide very high sped internet
)". The tv station and the content to be offered will be very helpful
in this context and combined products will push the tariffs down.
