Is he really neutral journalist? Surly throw his blade like words
againts the government, little friendly policy to UNP and more
friendly policy to LTTE. Most of his words proof that he is for tamil
eelam, anti war policy and tamil rights.

I have watched the minnal program once in a while and I do agree he speaks for the tamil rights and his questions usually put the current government to shame.
This shouldn't really be a surprise. Our community is so polarized Tamils don't necessarily understand the sinhala view point and Sinhalese don't necessarily understand Tamil view points. There are also lots of myths about each other in their own community.
Just a publicity stunt.
