Celltel lanka limited is the pioneer mobile phone operator in south
asia. This company owns by millicom international ltd. They are
expecting to invest up to us$ 200 million for their expansion
programme. Celltel recently introduces their gprs value added services
to their customers and it is still free. Celltel is the 2nd largest
mobile operator in sri lanka with 16% of market share. They plan to
built 250 towers in next 200 days and targeting 1.5 million customers
.
