Media ministry orders all analog radio stations to convert digital? ?

Media ministry of sri lanka has given licence to 31 radio stations so
far. Most radio stations are now commercialy broadcasting their
programmes, some are just started to test or not yet starts.

Another list of applications waiting to get approval but problem is
there are not enough frequencies. "These frequencies are limited
resource to a country" said media ministry official. And he further
says "We decide to convert all analog radio's to digital radio's. That
is the only thing we can do to this frequencies problem. We took this
decision after talking to all radio station officers"

This decision is now finalized but not decide when it is going to
start coverting.
